Joshua Bell and Sakari Oramo pay tribute to Nobel Prize winners on Accentus Music DVD and Blu-ray
DVD and Blu-ray recordings of the 2010 Nobel Prize Concert in Stockholm, Sweden featuring violinist Joshua Bell and conductor Sakari Oramo have been released by Accentus Music.
The program includes Bell performing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto accompanied by Oramo conducting the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, together with Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 and Sibelius’s Fifth Symphony.
The bonus features on both formats include interviews with both artists and the 2010 Nobel Laureate in Literature, Mario Vargas Llosa.
